Our Terms of Sale

Please read these Terms of Sale (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before making a purchase through https://www.theflowerproject.co.nz (“the Site”, “Website”) operated by The Flower Project Limited (“us”, “we”, or “our”). Last updated 01/10/2018


All prices quoted on our website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). If you make a purchase using a credit card your account will be charged in NZD.

Subscription Terms

The majority of products for purchase at The Flower Project are on a subscription only basis. 

Subscribers who have purchased via our website are able to manage their subscriptions through the subscriber log-in. Simply login to your account on the website, click on 'Manage Subscriptions' and edit as needed. Here you can pause, cancel, change frequency, update your credit card details, and change your delivery address, all at the click of a button.

Payments for subscriptions are normally taken two working days before your chosen delivery day (charged ion a Friday for Monday deliveries and charged on a Wednesday for for Friday deliveries). If we have not received your funds prior to the delivery date and have not had contact with you then you may not receive your delivery. For any payment enquiries please contact us.


We will deliver your flowers on the market day specified in your subscription with us. Currently, the markets operate on a Monday & Friday. The markets are not open on public holidays so if your scheduled delivery date falls on a public holiday we will deliver on the next available market day. We will endeavour to contact you in advance to remind you prior to this occurring.

If you are not home we will leave flowers in a bucket of water you have left out at a location specified by you or at your front door.

If your delivery address does not have somewhere we can leave the flowers we will attempt to contact you by any means of contact you have given us i.e: text, phone call and/or email. We will do our absolute best to get your flowers to you that day after making contact.

If we can not contact you and there is nowhere to leave the flowers (as in the case for apartment deliveries) we will unfortunately need to pass on the $11.50 courier fee charge in central Auckland to redeliver after hours or the following day. Alternatively, If you would like, you can pick the flowers up from our depot at 640 New North Road, Morningside, Auckland the following day.

Please contact 0800 LOVE TFP to organise this at your earliest convenience.

It is your responsibility to contact us in response to our attempts to contact on your market day of choice and let us know what you will do in terms of the redelivery/pick up of your selection. The $11.50 fee for redelivery will be charged to your credit card.


Refund Policy

We take great care and pride to ensure our flowers are of the highest quality. If in the rare occurrence you receive damaged or unsatisfactory goods please contact us immediately via email info@theflowerproject.co.nz with a photo of your unsatisfactory flowers within 24 hours of your delivery. We will provide a full refund, or replacement flowers if available.


Mailing List

By purchasing from The Flower Project you agree to be automatically added to our (e-mail) mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any point using the link in our newsletter or mailing list emails – you can also unsubscribe by e-mailing us at info@theflowerproject.co.nz with “unsubscribe” as the subject header.

Provision of Information

When you use the Website to purchase any products you will be required to provide certain information. You agree and warrant that:

  • (a) You will not use any false identities or personas and must provide us with your full legal name and current details;
  • (b) All information provided by you will be true and correct in all respects at the time it is given;
  • (c) You are responsible for ensuring that all information which is necessary to process any uncompleted sale transaction is kept up to date at all times, and will provide details of any changes to The Flower Project.

Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
