This is an independent informational platform covering Casino; the broader context is on the About page. This policy applies only to this website. Once you click through to Jackpot City, the operator's own privacy policy takes over; this site does not pass data to Jackpot City except in the narrow form described below.
1. What this site is
This site publishes reviews and guides about Casino and the wider Canadian-facing online casino market; the lead review is the Jackpot City Casino homepage. The site does not host games, run accounts, take deposits, hold funds or process withdrawals. There is no sign-up and no login. A default visit involves no data exchange beyond standard web traffic. Where this site does collect personal data (for example, when you write in), this page explains what happens with it.
2. Canadian privacy law context
Personal information is handled in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its fair information principles, overseen by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC). Where a province has substantially similar private-sector legislation, that law applies instead. This site does not collect: financial data (no payment processing happens here), Casino account credentials, biometric data, location beyond country level, or special-category data (race, religion, health, sexual orientation, political view). 4. Cookies and similar technologies

5. Affiliate links and operator-side tracking
When you click an outbound Casino link, three things happen in sequence. First, an internal redirect at /go records the click for our own analytics (whether or not you ever sign up). Second, your browser is forwarded to the Casino site. Third, Casino may set its own cookies and treat the visit as a referral. 6. How long data is retained
- IP addresses: raw IPs are kept up to 24 hours for abuse prevention, then anonymised; anonymised IPs are kept up to 14 months for traffic statistics.
- Contact correspondence: emails and attachments are kept for 24 months, then deleted unless still under active discussion.
- Analytics events: Google Analytics 4 data is kept for 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Cookie consent record: stored locally in your browser for 12 months.
Where retention is required by law for longer (for example, tax records for affiliate-related accounting under the Income Tax Act), the relevant data is kept only for the legally required window and not reused for any other purpose.
7. Who this site shares data with
Service providers that run parts of the site (hosting, content delivery, email) operate under written data-processing agreements confining their use to providing that service. Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4): IP-anonymised traffic data only. Law-enforcement bodies and regulators: only in response to a valid legal demand, and only the data the demand covers. This site does not sell, rent or swap personal data with anyone.
8. Where data is stored
This site's infrastructure runs on cloud providers in Canada and the European Economic Area. Some service providers (notably Google Analytics 4) process data in the United States. Whenever data crosses a border, the recipient is bound by comparable contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) that provide protection consistent with PIPEDA.
9. Your rights
- Access: ask what we hold and receive a copy.
- Correction: ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
- Deletion: ask for your data to be deleted, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Complaint: if you think this site has handled your data improperly, you can complain to the OPC at priv.gc.ca. Please contact us first so we have a chance to fix the issue.

10. Children's privacy
This site's content is aimed at Canadian readers and discusses an 18+ product. It is not directed at, or intended for, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors; if we become aware that data has been submitted by someone under 18, that data is deleted.
11. Security
This site applies industry-standard controls: TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit; access controls and least-privilege rules; regular reviews of who can see what; logging of administrative actions; periodic third-party penetration tests. No system is unbreakable; in the event of a breach likely to cause real risk of significant harm, affected individuals are notified and the OPC is informed in line with PIPEDA's breach-reporting requirements.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date is bumped. Material changes (new data categories, new processors, changed retention windows) come with a banner on the home page for at least 30 days. Minor housekeeping changes do not trigger a banner.
